RESPONSIBLE INNOVATION AND SHARING

Agriculture, a means of redemption

The Social Gardens project started in 2012 with the aim of promoting responsible innovation and sharing in the field of quality agricultural production and social inclusion policies. With this project, we associate the productive aspect of the farm with that of social rehabilitation of people belonging to weaker sections of the population and with low bargaining power.

Our products are made by young people who have found in agriculture a means to redeem themselves. We try to minimize the environmental footprint of our operations, and we teach our employees to cultivate
and rediscover a profession that follows the rhythms of nature. In the Social Gardens of Caselle Torinese and Torrazza Piemonte, our volunteers grow vegetables and fruit to bring to the tables of assisted families, using insecticides recognized in organic farming.

A sustainable reintegration, at the rhythms of nature

The Social Gardens project was born from the AMMP Caselle Giorgio Valsania Association, in memory of the young Giorgio Valsania. Hence the acronym ValGiò, which wants to promote responsible innovation and sharing in the field of quality agricultural production and social inclusion policies, associating the productive aspect of the farm with that of social rehabilitation, through the employment of people belonging to the weaker social groups.

The products are made by young people who have found in agriculture a means to redeem themselves, learning to cultivate and rediscovering a profession that follows the rhythms of nature, in full respect of environmental sustainability.
